We believe all God's children deserve clean water.
Millions of people around the world don't have clean water to drink.
Over 600 million people
lack access to a safe water source.
Nearly half of all deaths of children
under the age of five are caused by
preventable water-related diseases.
Water, sanitation, and hygiene related diseases kill nearly one million
people each year
Living Waters for the World volunteers work with partner communities to install water purification systems and health education programs in places with contaminated water sources.
When I finally participated in my first Living Waters for the World water system installation I wondered, what took me so long? For a lifelong active Christian, it is hard to admit that it took a mission trip to El Salvador for me to fully acknowledge how God provides for me daily.
To me, volunteering with Living Waters for the World is about making a difference in the life of a child. I don’t know that we are ever going to solve the water problem in Haiti, but that’s not what we’re trying to do. We’re trying to help specific children and communities. My commitment has gotten stronger with each trip.
Living Waters for the World truly is "mission for everyone.” Volunteers come from every Christian denomination, and every walk of life. This is a ministry where ordinary Americans can love their neighbors and tremendously impact the world.
