Water and the Word

Missional Connectivity It's a three-legged stool;

always a three-legged stool;

each leg dependent

on the other; each limb

supporting the dynamic seat

of life, community, hope.

Missional disconnect occurs

and is fueled by

the misunderstanding

of value and need.

If all we're willing to bring

to the table are

our external resources –

a much needed part,

but nowhere near the big picture –

the gifts of chronology and self

never have opportunity

to be woven with the time and person

of others into a larger

tapestry of community.

People, connecting

with one another,

and with God,

complete the partnership.
