CWU

Clean Water U (CWU) is the training school of Living Waters for the World. Located

in the woods of Hopewell Camp and Conference Center in Oxford, Mississippi and
Johnsonburg Camp and Retreat Center in Johnsonburg, New Jersey
, Clean Water U is a simulation
experience designed to equip mission team leaders with the skills necessary to:

  • form partnerships with communities in need of clean water

  • equip local leaders to lead ongoing health education

  • empower communities to install and sustain a Living Waters for the World

                           water purification system

These learning objectives are taught in three separate workshops which run concurrently during the

five-day session.  A church or organization sends three or more representatives - at least one

participant for each workshop.

Graduates of Clean Water U then serve as their mission group’s team leaders in subsequent water-focused mission trips. All system parts, curriculum and related materials necessary for successful completion of these trips are available to Clean Water U graduates via our Fulfillment Center, based in Louisville, Kentucky.

Clean Water U is open to all who wish to bring clean water to their mission partners.  We welcome the participation of churches of all denominations and civic organizations in this life-changing work.

If you have a desire to help those in need of clean water, get started by learning more about the Clean Water U workshops, or contact us to help you take the first steps necessary to establish a mission relationship.
